Eporgen Venture has been established in 2004 as the first Italian seed capitalist specialized in early stage biotech projects.

Since 2005, Eporgen Venture Spa has been the leading Italian company specialising in seed financing of the life science sector

The company is entirely funded by local private investors, with the aim of promoting a new business model for a region that has traditionally been based on ICT, mechanical engineering and textiles

There is no institutional investor among the shareholders

Eporgen has supported the "Bioindustry Park del Canavese" in organizing the Discovery 1 and Discovery 2 initiatives to identify and select innovative research projects to be incubated in the Park premises

More than 50 projects have been considered, 8 of which have been incorporated to date.
