Konstantinos Efthymiopoulos
President and Chief Executive Officer

Konstantinos Efthymiopoulos has accumulated over 20 years of experience in the international pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry (Farmitalia Carlo Erba; Glaxo; Serono; Eurand), including all aspects of drug discovery, development, registration and launch and covering a wide range of therapeutic areas. He is also currently CEO of Funxional Therapeutics and an advisor to Index Ventures.

Luciano Stabile
Vice President, Administration and Finance

Luciano Stabile is a co-founder of Eporgen and has a great deal of experience in the management of companies and their finances. His previous appointments include Presidency of the “Confindustria del Canavese” and the Head of Foreign Sales at Olivetti SpA.

Lorenzo Boscarelli
Vice President, Human Resources

Lorenzo Boscarelli is a co-founder of Eporgen and a partner at GEA, company management consultants, in Milan. He is also founder and CEO of Androclus Therapeutics SpA and lectures in “Production Strategy” at the Milan Polytechnic.

Prof. Gianni Garotta
Scientific Director

Gianni Garotta boasts a long and successful career in both the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry as well as in academia, including experience in both American and Italian universities. His previous roles in industry have included high level managerial positions at Roche, Human Genome Science and Serono. He has also been successful in his entrepreneurial endevours with Ribovax.

Luciana Orlando
Director of Projects

Luciana Orlando is a toxicologist by training and has accumulated experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Her previous roles include a position as General Manager at RBM/Serono.
